HRM Individual assignment 2 (15%)

As part of the assessment (15%), an individual paper will be submitted to ispace by 5pm 21 April, 2024. The paper reviews a selected article, including but not limited to a summary and evaluation of that article.

The 4-6 pages (12 font, double spaced, 1 inch margin) review will include: Introduction

Include a few opening sentences that announce the author(s) and the title, and briefly explain the topic of the article. Present the aim of the article and summarizes the main finding or key argument. Conclude the introduction with a brief statement of your evaluation of the article, which can be a positive or negative evaluation or a mixed response.

Summary

Present a summary of the key points, along with a limited number of examples. You can also briefly explain the authorʼs purpose/intentions throughout the article, and you may briefly describe how the article is organized.

Evaluation

The evaluation should be a balanced discussion and assessment of the strengths, weaknesses, and notable features of the text. Good reviews also include other sources (e.g., concepts and theories on the textbook) to support your evaluation. Present your thoughts and evaluation of the article. Discuss what you learned from reading the article or ideas you might use in the future.

Conclusion

Restate your overall opinion of the text̶briefly present recommendations. If necessary, some further qualification or explanation of your judgment can be included. This can help your critique sound fair and reasonable.
