Task Description:

This first assessment, requires you to deliver a live online presentation, that addresses your planned 3D experience and showcases your ability to creatively utilize the skills and design principals covered in classes to design, create and digitally present a new 3D environment (in the form. of a 3D world that will be used for your outlined 3D experience).

You must present both your overall concept, its applied use of design principals, and the initial 3D world created.

Criteria for this assessment item:

50% Demonstrated application of 3D modelling, lighting and surfacing techniques

25% Demonstrated 3D experience concept with application of creative planning and efficiency techniques

25% Applied Use of Design Principals

Resubmission:

Students who fail this assessment, will be offered the opportunity to resubmit with the potential to obtain a passing grade on the second submission. The student has five working days from return of the assessment task to resubmit for re-examination. Only one opportunity to resubmit the assessment task is to be awarded.

Submission: You must present your experience/game concept and the initial 3d world in a live online presentation in class
